Easter and a week of activities

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday and we are gathering together as a family, well most of us anyways. My Brother and his family won't be here because they go to my Sister-in-laws family.  Planning on grilling some chicken, salads, floats for dessert, and fun Easter activities.  Also on Tuesday I will be watching my niece and nephew while they are on spring break. Yesterday we were out coloring with sidewalk chalk and they asked if I remember the fun we used to have when I watched them full time. So they requested we do themed activities this week. I went to the dollar store and found a lot of cute art projects so hopefully that entertains them.

Challenge Delay

We have had an unexpected event come up so my 100 day challenge didn't get off to a good start because my heart wasn't in it 100%.  We did have a lovely Full Moon Esbat Thursday evening though so that recharged my spirit.  I'm planning on starting over on Monday and working my 100 days :)

Why an Online Journal?

I was watching a training video and they mentioned that someone had a "wish, hope, dream blog" and I thought to myself I want one too. I don't have anything against writing in a journal and I have a few that I write in daily. However I wanted an online journal that other consultants for not only Scentsy but other home base businesses could read as well. So I'm starting this off with my Scentsy story! I was first introduced to Scentsy by my sister who had a party years ago. I don't want to bash other consultants but lets just say it wasn't a good impression so I purchased a few things but left it at that. Flash forward a few years and one of my work friends started selling so I purchased my first plug in warmer and the first scent that I ever warmed which was Blueberry Cheesecake. I enjoyed the products but didn't really get into buying more. In 2011 I found myself in Upstate New York with my Fiance who was in the Army at the time and needing to make money without being tied to the location since I would only be there for 6 months. I've always enjoyed scented candles and almost always felt guilty about throwing the glass jars with the few inches of left over wax out. I also didn't enjoy the black soot marks on my walls (needless to say those were a pain when we had to pass inspection on the house). I also had a curious cat and a very very hyper dog to worry about around open flames and super hot wax. That is when Scentsy popped back into my head, not only to purchase as a safe alternative to open flame candles but because the product was one that I could stand behind I decided to sell. I looked into the company more from a consultants standpoint and fell in love with the array of products, the company resources that back up their consultants, the charity of the company, and how all the consultants treated each other like family. I'm coming up on my 1st Scentsiversary and couldn't be happier. I'm currently looking into taking my part time job to a full time job being and Independent Consultant to the best company around!

Day one of the challenge

Today is day one and I wanted to list a few things I've gathered together to help with this 100 days of practicing the law of attraction in my daily life. I'm rereading the book The Secret and will follow that with The Power and The Magic. I started a new gratitude book, and I found a law of attraction subliminal audio program. The audio is wave sounds with subliminal positive affirmations throughout the track. I listen to the half out program daily while I'm busy online answering emails etc. We shall see how day two goes, I want to wrap up the first book as well as start my dream boards.

100 Day Reality Challenge

I was watching one of my Scentsy training videos and the consultant said she started applying the law of attraction into her daily life. She also stated to jump start this transformation she took the 100 day reality challenge. 100 days of putting the law of attraction front and center in your life.  I have all the books from the secret series and I really believe you get what you put out into the universe. So I'm starting my own 100 day challenge and documenting my results and daily thoughts on this blog. You might be asking why I am posting on my Wicca blog and not on my personal blog. I personally feel that the mind set of the law of attraction goes hand in hand with my spiritual bond with Wicca and witchcraft because it is the universe we are dealing with.

Ready to start again

Howdy readers,
I had to take a step back for my own health and mental clarity before I could go further on my weight loss challenge journey.  I have in the last few months experienced a downward spiral, nothing to do with the challenge but because it affected my mental health I had to put a halt on my progression. Now I'm ready to start again so I will be blogging a lot more and filming my weekly progress videos.

The Job

I officially have a job after being without for over two years. I'm looking forward to getting out of the house and making my own money instead of relying on T for income. Even thought it may not be my dream job my goal is to make this work and remember that " This is not my life it is how I make money to live!"

Sick Again

Here I am again sick with a cold. However the cycle is going pretty fast. Wednesday I woke up with an inflamed sore throat which was just awful.  Thursday my nose was stuffed up and runny.  And today it is in my chest which is the worst part of the cold I must say. Sore throat is one thing but when you are coughing and straining your vocal cords is beyond words at this point. I just want to be able to sleep and not have the pain.

Everyday Altar

Here is a picture of our every day altar.  I will admit it is more of a storage spot because we move everything to our coffee table when we cast a circle. However our permanent altar does get used daily. Incense is offered daily along with a chant and we decorate for upcoming sabbats.

Witch vs Wiccan

I've been practicing Wicca for a few years now I will admit at first it wasn't a big part of my life but since meeting my Husband who is also Wiccan I've learned a lot.  For a long time I thought all Witches were Wiccan and all Wiccan's practiced the craft.  I came across a blog which explains it quite well http://www.hecatescauldron.org/Witchcraft_Wicca.htm  check it out and find out the differences.  So now not only am I learning more about my choice of religion which is Wicca but I also want to start practicing the Craft.

Phone Scam Nightmare

This is my 3rd day dealing with this crap. Today they started calling at 4:30am. Previous calls were for payday loans today they have been telling me they are credit repair company or a life insurance company which needs to verify my information. Yesterday I had to get the police involved because I was told if I didn't pay my debt that men would come to my home and rape me (the guy laughed and went into graphic detail) the only reason I kept him on the line was I was recorded that call.
The detective I spoke to said there wasn't much they could do but gave me the following information; report each call to the dnc registry, also ask for a DCA# when you speak to them, keep a log when they call and what the call was about. Good Luck everyone I don't see an end to this madness any time soon.
