Tired of being sick

I cannot remember the last time I felt 100% if ever.  I have an Immune Deficiency which leaves me wide open to infections.  When I get sick I get really sick, I had the chicken pox 3 times and wouldn't doubt I would get it again, and I just don't feel good in general. So I'm doing some research, going to start from the inside out and hit the gym on a regular basis. Hopefully 2014 will find me feeling 100%

Epic Adventures

Took the kids on a playdate to see the movie Epic. I thought it was cute even though I fell asleep about halfway through. I don't think I was out for very long though.  What I do know is this no air conditioner in the dead of summer is starting to affect the health. Heat exaustion is setting in at this point!

Self Entitled Teens

My parents, sister, and myself went out to eat at an Ihop that we always have problems with service at. Why did we go there I don't know probably because we were tired and didn't want to drive to far. It was not crowded however there were a few people there and by far my sister and I were the youngest in the bunch at 26 and 36 respectively.   Our food arrives and everything is going well until the monster of all monsters "S.E.T's " Walked in. That of course is where the title of this post comes into play.  Two girls and a guy loud and obnoxious as soon as they entered the door. Loud giggly flirting with the waiter that bordered into the kind of talk you would pay for via a 1-900 number, putting down the guy that was with them, loudly tell all the waiters they were hot, yelling for the wait staff, and somehow bringing in insulting comments about gay people. I have little patience with stupid people and teens are usually at the top of this list, the main reason is kids today have zero respect for not only the people around them but also for themselves. I honestly felt bad for them, I'm sure their parents are not proud that their daughters talk like hookers. I'm also scared for the future of this planet because these kids are our future and we already are seeing the effects of the "all about me" generation.

Social Media Break & Assorted Crap

I've been having issues as of late keeping my emotions  in check so I've decided to take a break from some of the stuff that fuels the fire. I am not using my twitter, tumblr, or facebook other than my business accounts for the rest of the month.  In addition I'm keeping away from news both tv and online. I did to keep me sane decide to allow myself to use this blog and pinterest accounts still to give me something to do and not put a hold on  social media cold turkey cause that might be just as bad Ha Ha!  As for the assorted crap my Mother fell off the hammock again and out of anger or fear my little brother went out an hacked the hammock up into pieces.  I was a little upset because I felt it was stupid to destroy something that other people use because one person fell. I mean don't get me wrong I was concerned about my mom but she is pretty clumsy and it had been suggested quite a bit before that she not use the hammock.  Then a few days later the power went out in a portion of the house, T and I went to see what was going on and found the fuse box sparking and a few wires glowing hot. We had to sleep that night since it was 2am with no air conditioning in a home that got up to 99 degrees. Now we have limited power which will power only a few items at a time so we rotate who can watch TV and who can have fans on at what time at night. Let me just say we live in the desert and it has been triple digit temps so you can imagine how sticky and gross it is. The electricians were here today and did all the prep work now we just have to wait for the power company to get their butts here to do their part, we are considered an emergency situation since my mom is on oxygen when she sleeps so we got bumped up to a two week wait.  (laugh to keep from crying right?)

The super scary could have died post!

Yesterday T and I went out on an afternoon drive to the local Walmart to pick up some light bulbs and washcloths. As we were driving home we discussed getting something for lunch and T decided he wanted McNuggets and then it happened! While sitting in the left turn lane T's body tensed up and his foot went down on the gas peddle.  I was shaking his arm and screaming for him to move, look at me, just anything. All I got was a blank stare and his body went back and he started to shake uncontrollably.  When he started to shake his foot went down again on the gas peddle and his foot came off the brake. I braced both of us as we went into the truck in front. Luckily no one from either vehicle was injured severely mostly whiplash and headaches. After we finished with the police I took T to the hospital to see what the heck happened. I thought he had a seizure but the hospital staff said otherwise. Most likely an isolated black out of Synacopal Episode (that's the fancy pansy term). And T has a non life threatening heart blip that he has to have monitored for the next 4 weeks. My niece and nephew refer to him as "Iron Man" because of the monitor he is hooked up to.

Anatomy of a Journal Page

Here is how I journal on a daily basis. I tend to journal in the am when I do my morning daily ritual. My morning starts with me lighting a candle and meditating, I also do a tarot reading for the day not to relie on but to give me some direction for the day. In my journal the first of the two page spread I write down what I'm grateful for now that I have, what I would be grateful in the future, and my tarot reading. On the second page I write about the day before or goals I have. If I have something such as an invite or a ticket stub I will glue that into my journal as well. I've posted a video that shows how I organize my journal. Enjoy and good luck with your daily Journals!

2013 Wellness Challenge

I intend to do a Wellness Challenge each year with the main goal to run the Disneyland 5k in 2015 and then go on to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon in 2016.  I posted on my Wickless Illumination You Tube channel a video explaining my challenge and how I intend to do so. Now for the Wellness Challenge breakdown Mind, Body, and Soul.  My mind goal for 2013 is to register for school and get on my way to earning my associate degree in criminal justice.  My body goal is to make lifestyle changes and lose weight so I can start prepping in 2014 to run 5k's. And my soul goal is to get more into journaling and the law of attraction.

I also wanted to post a pic of my $ Store find today!
They had cute Disney 8oz water bottles. So I bought a few to have on hand in the fridge. Cold water to keep hydrated + good for Mother Earth!
